there should be a trade sections so I can get rid of this electronic crap that I actually used BEFORE i got into herps
I agree, I think there should be a section for trades, or one that is not herp related. I understand the reason for keeping this board strictly "herp related", but I think that as a community, something like this should be available with proper guide lines.....

This has been discussed a few times in the past (I'll leave it to the members to perform the searches if they want to read about it).
The gist of it is this (as was stated by either Jeff or one of the moderators previously): to maintain the integrity of this site it would be inadvisable to advertise anything but herps in the classifieds. This is because many people would register as members from other areas of the internet to post massive amounts of garbage while contributing nothing to the site. By keeping it herp related, advertising in the classifieds would be a byproduct of being an active contributor to our forums.
I wholeheartedly agree with what has already been said regarding this issue. There are other venues in which you can offload your electronics.
Cheers,
R

Makes sense. I guess if we see something we want we could always pm the seller and ask them if they would trade for non herp stuff.

Maybe Ebay can help you out with that. Sorry, I don't think it would be an asset to this site. It would just clutter up the classified ads with a bunch of junk. If we have that, why not a dating service and an online grocery store? There are tons of web sites for stuff like that.
Don't mean to be a scrooge, I just disagree. :)
