Hey I was just wondering where I might buy a BP. They seem kinda scarce by me (New Jersey). Any suggestions? Its my first snake so Im not about to drop hundreds of dollars just looking for a nice normal nothin fancy.

If you don't mind having the animal shipped then there are tons of great breeders on this site. But local, I haven't a clue.

You are in the states so let me give you some links....you won't have to spend hundreds of dollars.

This one is in New Jersey and fairly well known!!:

What you can do is email the source you are interested in, tell them you are a new snake owner and you would like information about any CB baby ball pythons they have. Most will be happy to help you out. Their availabilities pages aren't always the best place too look because not everyone lists normals. I'd email. Remember, if you let them know about your situation (new owner looking for well started snake) they will be able to help you better.

Good luck!

I thought I'd give you some links to Ball Python care information as well. These will help you have a good over grasp as to what you are looking into and give you some great care advice.

A good book to purchase for some of the best information out there would be:

How about in the London / St. Thomas area? I've seen them in the pet shops but I'd much rather get one directly from a breeder who loves their snakes :)
