are you sure that is an amber and not just a regular caramel?
cause it is kind of dark for an amber (at least compared to other ambers that I have seen) but it might be....cause it's always hard to tell by just the looks of an animal~ I could be wrong~

caramels have thicker lined saddles. Imagine a true Okeetee with the thick, black line around the saddles-and that is a caramel.

My photos are also really dark, cause my camera's light sensor doesn't work worth anything.

Sorry I don't really understand what you are saying here.
But a caramel is a recessive gene. It's now used as a base gene to work with to get the butter and amber corn morphs. So caramel + hypo = amber and caramel + amel = butter. What I would call a true okeetee a) either from Jasper County where we really originate okeetees or b) selectively bred to get the thick black line around saddles

I am not trying to be rude here but just trying to clear things up a bit. Sorry if this sounded a bit rude~:thumbsup:

I meant to tell the difference, ambers have reduced black around the blotches, whereas most caramels I've seen have more black.

I meant such as okeetees with thick black borders around the blotches. :)

I'm not good at explaining things out so others can understand them.
