View Full Version : Pot bellied Anaconda
` The big guy found a good position to let his big belly hang down. He's full of rats, 5 3/4 pounds of them.

He's totally tame. He, and his siblings, have been since birth. He's over 9 feet, pushing 30 pounds.

Normaly the yellows are around 10' i think arent they? I think the males average somehting like 8-10 with the females 10-12. Thats what i heard. I think it sucks cause i could own a 14' vicious BCC in alberta but not a 10' docile yellow annaconda. I really want to move to another province but we(alberta) dont have PST. LOL. O well.
Chris
Correct me if im wrong on the yellow average sizes.

By the way nice 'conda!!! Hes got alot of yellow! Have a good time with the big guy! Haha, sorry, forgot the topic. Its almost midnight and i got school tomorow and i been sick all day so im lost.
` He's very large for a male Yellow. His rapid growth should be over, as he's almost 5 years old.
` The best thing about him is that he is completely tame. He started out that way, as a newborn.

I do believe he is full. He's a beautiful snake. Are they generally tame when captive bred?

very nice

` In answer to mrsogle, no. My experience is that non-aggressive babies come from parents who are the same. I've seen plenty of captive bred Anacondas that were very aggressive, and wouldn't change. I've also seen plenty of wild-caught Anacondas that were gentle, and would allow extensive handling, without aggression.
