He is 6 - 8 months old aprx., eating 50 - 75 gram rats. Weighs 300 grams, seems active, has a great temperament and the only medical problem I had was a case of mites which I cleared up immediately. I thought his tail was a little disproportioned to the rest of his body, but that's most likely me just being over paranoid again. He is housed in a 50 gallon tank with a cool side of 80 - 85 (there is one corner of the tank which is covered by leaves which drops to 77 on occasion, but I'm going to fix that by getting a bigger UTH.) and a hot side of 90 - 95. Surface temps are provided by UTH and I have 2 heat lamps with red bulbs to keep the ambient air temps up, they are usually very steady between 80 - 88 but occasionally because of the winter it has dropped below 80 but not for much longer then a few hours. Daylight is provided by natural sunlight, the tank is right beside a window. Humidity is kept between 60 - 70%. All temps are measured by digital thermometers and hydrometers. Surface temps are measured by a temp gun. Any and all opinions would be greatly appreciated, if he’s too small, looks sickly, or even if you think he's just fine. Just want to make sure everything is running smoothly.
