I searched franticly to find my little crested in his cage but couldnt. Then i notcied a tail under the water bowl coming out of the dirt! I thought he had suffucated!. I removed teh water bowl and he was under there. I picked him up and warmed him up. He went back into his cage firskily. MY problem is... he was directly under the water bowl. All the way!! Why would he do this... and could it be fatal?

thanks,
Geoff

My Guess is he was thinking to him self "Hmm, thats looks like the perfect spot for me to go" and of he went.

and no that could not be fatal

Have a nice day
Brian

P.S. yuou may want to check the temps in the cage
