And a nice little stretch across his branch after the fact. Still have no clue why that blue keeps showing up, I can't see it on him when I inspect him and it only shows up in pictures when he is eating. Any guesses?
Anyway thanks for looking.

great pics........I don't see any blue? Maybe it's because the rat is black and it's showing through the sking as blue?

If you look at his belly in the last 3 feeding pics you can see some odd coloring, blueish if you will. I think it was Linds who pointed it out last time I posted a feeding pic. I chaked it up to a crappy camera, but 2 times in a row has got me thinking it could be somethng else, but no clue as too what. I don't think it's a bad thing, just sorta curious as to what it is.
Thanks for the kind words.

That was pretty funny man, even though I DESPISE Queen. LOL! Bit of a selective bunch these mods are though, I got asked not to sing Bon Jovi songs in the chat room the other day... now I'm half way there and I'm livin on a prayer... I'll make it I swear...

ohhhhhh I see.......switch to white rats...if you don't see a difference then I don't know what it is......
My bp did that to when I fed him a hooded rat......freaked the s*** outta me. Then I realized I had feed him a rat that had black on it, with the snakes white stomache coloring that it looked blue.
Probably the light. Different lighting causes yellow or blue colors.

the way Vengeance states it, it is like it has been in other pics after feeding only. That is why I said switch to white rats and see what happens......
Because it only happens after he eats in pictures........

Not after, during, but you could be right about the rat thing, the blue seems to become more as more of the rat goes down.

I did that once, except the entire rat was black, it lasted for like 8 hours before I realized that the "blue" was gone. I thought something was wrong with him. I then gave him a pure white rat and I didn't see it, then I gave him a hooded rat, and I seen some "blue". So I concluded it was the rats coloring and once I switched to all white rats I haven't seen the "Blue" since.

it is the colouring from the rat showing through the stretched snake skin. I see it on my IJCP when i give him a rat that has black on it. You can see it through the light coloured skin that is exposed when he stretches and his scales spread apart as well..if u watch, u can see the colouring moving down his body as he swallows..i took close up pics of the colouring because i saw it and thought it was neat how u could see the rat through his skin. IF you want to see a pic, pm me. I would post one in my gallary but then i would have to greatly reduce the size of the pic making it harder to see.
