Ive had my snake since oct/nov 2002. I got him as a rescue and he was about 6 months old when i took him home. Well, thats how old we estimated him to be? and im just guessing hes a male..
So hes about 1 year 8 months? Hes about 2' 8" long. he is quite slender, but not underweight or anything.
I cant help but feel he's little small for his age?
plus i seem to be seeing alot of "this is my year old corn snake hes 3 feet long" in posts...... it makes me feel quite inadequate :D
so ...... do you think that he's small?

Not at all. He's not even done his growing (the early stages that is). He'll eventually get there. Unless you have some early breeding plans for him there's nothing to worry. Most people feed their corns more and try to get em up to size in a smaller amount of time. There are pros and cpns to that, but to answer your question, I don't think he'll be a midget.

My 5 month old is about 2 ft, and I don't do the power feed thing......she gets fed every 7 days..........
Can corns grow slow sometimes, no matter how much you feed......??

There is a lot of individual variation in growth rate even among siblings that are fed the same amount. I have two adult males that have been offered food at the same rate throughout their lives - one always feeds, the other is pickier and the larger male is almost twice as long and twice as big around as his brother. Same with many of my hatchling corns - even when they eat the same amount some grow faster. Many of the slower ones catch up over time, some are just meant to be smaller or finer in structure. Size isn't everything,
