I moved my corn up to a fuzzy today as she is about 14-15" long and about as thick as a Sharpie marker in the largest part. She has swallowed about half of it like a half hour ago and now has the rest just hanging outta her mouth. She swallowed pinkies in less than two minutes each. Is this normal when they move to a smaller food?

you mean a larger food? Did you let her finish sheding?

If she hasn't swallowed the rest of it in like 30 min she will probably regurgate it.

In that case....IF she regurges

Put her in an EXTREME low traffic area of the house. Give her fresh water.
Then leave her alone for about 1 week, check her water, give her more if needed, then leave her alone for about another 5-7 days......then attempt to feed her again (with a LARGE pinky)

You have to wait about 10-14 days to feed to let the esophogus (sp?) and stomache heal....

If she don't regurge, then be glad she didn't!

A fuzzy should be absolutly no problem for a 15 inch long cornsnake.

She took it down now, but there is a ring of skin she didn't shed about an inch and a half back that is slowly starting to open up. She never seemed to soak in her water, it is on the cool side, should I move it to the warm end? I felt it with my finger and it feels pretty cold.

I think you should stop worrying and leave her alone :) :)

If she had shed stuck on her you should have removed it before feeding again...didn't you just get this snake?? Anyways don't mess with it now, just let her be alone for a couple days to digest. If its still there then try removing it.

I would leave the water dish where it is, my corns rarely if ever will drink or soak in warm water. If they need soaking or more humidity add a humid hide.
