View Full Version : 02 1.0 blood red
here's my male blood red I picked up in Daytona. He's got a pure white belly as well. This is him when I first got him, he's grown soo much since he started eating for me. His mate however, is being stubborn.

Very nice Katt, haven't I seen him somewhere? Telltale gray head and clean belly= blood red I'd say!
That's the guy you shaw at Daytona Mark!
The pair I've had since the show. The female was getting thin, so I forcefed her. The pink bulge disappeared in a day. I just didn't want to lose her. I'm hoping she'll eat for me the next time. The male is becoming a li'l piggie, so I am pleased.
I don't believe they are het for anything, that would be nice if they were!!

you sure it is solid corn? Its head looks to be a ratsnakes. Not that it is a big deal, but that it could just be a trick of the light
STILL a beautiful snake!!!
Have you seen a neonate blood red? Check out the cornsnake manual he looks very much like the baby blood red in there. Blood reds have very strange looking heads.
I have a few crossed and intergraded ratsnakes and he looks all corn to me. Head included, 'cides corns ARE ratsnakes! hee hee
Perhaps I'll post more pics of him and her tomorrow.

ohh i know that are basically the same, but ratsnakes have different head patterns and usually their heads are a bit bigger. Thats all

You'll have to post pics of his "progression". I hope he gets that very, very deep red. Looks like he's got it to me.
