Wow! They're a lovely pair; that female has a good size on her! I'm with you there Lu, I can't wait until the female blood belonging to Invictus and I gets to be that huge. :)
They are cute as babies but much more impressive as adults. Everybody loves a big blood....our female is around 25-30lbs

And how is their temperament?
There temperments couldn't be any better, at first the are a little hissy but once they are out they are like a giant ball python. They love to make noise at first. I love there attitudes...espcially compared to my borneo...she is quite aggressive.

I've been hearing that quite a bit lately about bloods vs. borneos, and I hear more cases of borneo aggression. Then again, many snakes have undeserved bad reputations. So, on to the fun stuff... are these 2 expected to produce soon? When should I start making out the cheque? :D

Man, Jamie those are AWESOME! They didn't hiss today. Thanks for letting me take a look.
Chris
Invictus - With all the bloods i have come in contact with they seem to be a little hissy at first....I find them to be very sensitive to touch....after that initial touch they seem to calm down as with all my borneos they don't hiss as much as swing that head around with a vengence. My big blood is huge but slow and noisey...my small borneo (approx 1.5 years old) is much more defencive and will not hessitate to strike...weather she is in her cage or out. As with them producing I have caught them in the act a handful of times so my fingers are crossed for the spring. If you are ever up in edmonton let me know and you can come over and check them out.
CHRISANDBOIDS14 - thanks for the great comments, it is nice to find other people in edm with similar interests. I will definately have more to show you as we get closer to spring. One day I will have to check out your blood

Thanks for the invite Jamie. :) I think Erin and I will be up in Edmonton in the not too distant future, so I'll let you know well ahead of time. :)
No problem...just let me know when you are coming up and we will get together for a bit...I will make sure the house is nice and warm so help fight this insane cold weather
