Mexican Milks (L.t. annulata) one of my adults and some 02 babies-- I've been selective breeding this line for increased red and hi triad count for about 15 years.. There are other bloodlines that have a nice apricot/orange hue to them.. Maybe Gillards could post a pic or two of their fine line

Below are a few of my Pueblans. I like the high contrast black white and red ones, but also produce a few apricots. Some clutches can contain both phases like these siblings

this is the look I prefer. Hopefully they will produce this year..for some strange reason they didn't last year, which is odd for Pueblans which can have up to 3 clutches a season

No warning, no nuttin, just post the pics and get me to look, huh?
Those are unbelievable, even nicer than the pictures I've seen on websites. I'm drooling, and it's still a loooong wait. I sure hope the annulata do their thing this year, I definitely need some of them :) The Pueblans will have to wait for next year, I'm hoping to have enough self control to only add one more species this year so I don't overdo it with new speices to learn.
Am I the only one who thinks the tricolors look like they're knit? They remind me so much of the 'wool snakes' you get from corking (spool knitting).

Even though these are for Hilde, I am taking a peek too!! Very nice Mexicans - interesting that you could make such progress on increasing the triad count. I only have one mexican milk but he is more orange than red with a much lower number of triads.
The pueblans are very nice - incredible color on the apricot - much peachier than most I have seen. The top one almost has a loss of red in some of his bands too. Very nice.

Humm, corking eh? ..that wooden bobin thingy with the nails around the top right?...I never could figure out what the heck to do with that 30 foot one I made that summer of 69.
Now that I think about it, I could have cut it in pieces for snake sweaters.

Hi Mary...After 5 or 6 generations, you can bring out quite a few traits.. You just keep back the best every year, grow them up and rebreed them.
It's inbreeding of course, but I've never had any problems, and they can always be outcrossed once you have what you were trying to make.

Very Nice Roy. The adult Mexican is stunning. Very clean and very sharp colors. I can only hope mine turn out to be as nice.
The Sockheads are also very nice, i notice a distinct facial strip on one of them...Is it as wide as it looks?

All are great looking snakes, but those Pueblans are wicked nice! Especially that apricot!

Thanks Linds!! Yours is nice too. Do you have a mate for yours.. I recall it was a girl.. You should get her bred
Roy, love the high triad count on your annulatas, could almost be mistaken for mountain kings.....
