i spent a little too much money this weekend, but couldnt help myself :) .. as long as my bills are paid i guess its ok though.. lol

tuesday im picking up my first pictus gecko .. its only a few weeks old, and barely two inches long. i get first pick since i was the first to reserve one at the shop.

next week i will be getting a crested gecko.. also only a few weeks old. he has a sticker on his tank saying he's mine. they werent ready to sell today. the shop doesnt want to let them go just yet because their so small.

and in the next couple of weeks im getting my first monitor. its an argus and its beautiful.

and if we get to move into a house we found sometime soon, i will most likely be getting a frilled lizard and a red tail boa. havent put any money down on them yet, but the shop said they would hold them a few weeks for me to see if i can get settled somewhere else.

my best friend purchased a red tail boa last week. we're working on building him a larger cage this week. and im turning my old computer desk into a three cage setup. ill post pics of that when its done.

but yea just wanted to share my news with everyone. im really excited about it.

Sounds like you had a fun week, and will have even more fun when they all come home with you.
I've found it's worthwhile to get rid of a large be and use a twin sized one, in the middle of the room, leaves all the wall space for cages and tanks. For clothing, rely on track pants and sweat shirts folded in a drawer, which means the closet is empty, can be turned into another enclosure or place to put a rack system. It's amazing how much more room you can find for critters if you become creative. :)

lol.. we got rid of our old bedroom suite and got another one so we would have more "shelf space." by next week none of our kids (lol) will be kept in fish-tank type homes. by tuesday they will all have their own custom home. thats a major space-saver. now our cages look like part of our furniture than just tanks sitting around everywhere.. woo
