I just keep mine at room humidity, it is dry enough in my room to cause nosebleeds! I just mist when she goes into shed, and I get a perfect shed every time! I also just do random mists through out the week...

Calgary is notoriously dry - my house stays at less than 20% humidity pretty much all year round. I never mist the corns, and they shed perfectly every time too.

ok so i think that 50-60% is too high. is it?? if so i need to figure out what to do.
It's not too high. My house varies between like 40-65% and I never mist my corns. Can't remember the last time I had a bad shed. If your corn has a bad shed, put a humid hide in his cage, or mist around shed time. Otherwise, it wil be fine.

The thing about corns is, they can adapt to almost anything. I wouldn't recommend keeping them above 80% for an extended period of time, but 50-60% is considered to be a good relative humidity for most living creatures. :)

I just keep a large water dish in the cage with mine... he coils up and soaks in it before he sheds and he always does fine.
