View Full Version : TRAGEDY and APOLOGIES
This thread is to inform everyone the reason I haven't resopnded to all the overwhelming inquiry about my animals. I thought it would be better to post here than to explain in detail to every individual.
Well on December 26th one of my places caught on fire and burned my facility. I lost almost all my animals and only a few survived. It is a great loss for me and I must apaologies for all the inconvenience it has caused. This incident has put major stress on me the people around me, since I lost almost all my collection that took many years to build. To all that inquired about the Albino balls, boas and knobtail geckos, I've lost all my ball morphs, baby albino boas and entire knobtail colony. I am feeling down and guilty about this incident. But I will not let this take me out of the hobby or let this tragedy take the lives of my babies for no reason. This tragedy will fuel me to start over and build everything from scratch, it'll take awhile but I will make it. Again my deep apologies for any inconvenience and thank you all for taking the time to read and understanding my current situation. I will still try my best to reply to the inquires and update on what is still available.

Sorry for your loss.
You had some very nice specimens. I am sure if you ever need some help, a few of us could plan a trip from Montreal/Ontario to your place to lend you a hand.

Wow, that's incredible. Fire has been responsible for the devastation of many collections. Something a lot of us don't think about.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I don't think I can imagine what it is like. Our condolances and luck in rebuilding and surviving.
Any idea what caused the fire??

Very sorry to hear about this...best of luck to you in the future.
I was shocked to find out what happened to your collection. Fire is one of my worst fears. I don't think there are any words that can describe that. Hopefully you are able to take back all that were spared and work towards rebuilding it all very soon...

i am very sorry to hear about your loss, i couldnt even begin to comprehend the feeling of having lost so many animals
I'd like to thank all of the ssnakess members and others for their thoughts, kind words and understandings. And for all that's willing to help out, I really appreciate your gestures. This ordeal has taught me to not take life for granted. One day it can be GREAT and the next you can lose it all. That's what happened, It was Christmas and everything was great, the next day the fire took it all away. I've also learned that the member's here are caring and supportive and I feel honored to be amongst you. You guys really make me believe that I will be back on my feet in no time, from your thoughts and support. I am truly touched and surprised from all the PM's I got about donating animals and helping hands for my rebuilding. Just knowing is enough, Thanks but I cannot accept. But I will use it to fuel me to keep going when I feel like quitting. I won't stand by and let this tragedy take my loved animals lives away for nothing, I have no choice but to come back bigger and better than ever. I could get down about this and give up, but I gave myself a couple days to do that. Now it's time to learn from this and come back better than ever! I always say, problems are always around us. But it's how we deal with our setbacks that determines and shapes our life. You can either flake off and die or you deal with it and grow!! When you deal with it and solve it, you grow stronger. The great thing about it, is that the bigger the problem, the stronger and better you become as a person once you deal/solve it. And this is my biggest challenge yet. Well I welcome it with open arms because I am confident that with my resources, abilities and all the support that I have received, I will get over this hurdle and one day look back at it as just another problem I solved and turned around as a tool to advance me to bigger and better things. Because of this I will be relocating to a new facility which will allow me to expand to more diverse animals and projects and as you can see from my ads, I am not slowing down. I'm only getting started:D Well I better end this, it's getting long:eek: Thank you all again I truly do appreciate it, and a special thanks to Grant and PCPC for their continued support.
