Yeah, I thought they were talking about anacondas in the article.

Just curious, CAN a snake swallow a porcupine? Or would the quills prevent that? I would imagine it would be almost impossible for a snake to constrict a porcupine without hurting itself, let alone eating one.

Anacondas are not found in Rio De Janeiro...or anywhere in the southeast regions of brazil i believe.

I am from Sao Paulo - Brazil, i didn't even know that people in Rio were still capitalizing on snake skin, that sounds weird to me.
