how do I set up my own avatar?

I've noticed some standard ones -- but other people have definitely done up their own personally, and I'd like to too :) Any instructions would be appreciated...

umm...u click on profile. then click on edit options.. then u scroll all the way to the botttom and click on change avatar.. and then u do whatever u like! if u dont get what i'm saying pm me or something?
