Should I be concerned?

I put my new cornsnake in his tank (just got him yesterday) and today he didn't leave his hide once. I have not disturbed him, and am waiting 'til friday or saturday before I feed him, and waiting for a second feeding before handling him. Is this normal behavior for a new snake in a new home? Or am I doing something wrong?

100% normal! :)

He will most likely hide like this for months and come out at night sometimes. As they get older and some more size, they sit out more and more. Almost all my adults sit out in the open most of the time.

you may want to wait a little longer to feed him (if we are on the same days. lol, it's thursday here.) if you got him on the 13th you may want to wait to feed him until the 20th.
