hmmm....weird...they dont usually do that..what kind of spider is it?
My Brachypelma boehmi has done this prior to a molt. Great pic. I haven't ried to take pics of my slings cause they are so tiny! Good job.
its a brachypelma smithi, (mexican red-knee), its about 3/8" and is pink because its mostly bald.:)

Do you notice that little orange glob near its head?...that is some kind of a mucousy substance. Could it be a venom deposit because I disturbed him?...
