Pastel Jungle or Patel are they the same?

Why are people calling their pastels, Jungle Pastels when they look nothing like a Jungle at all? How did the name "Jungle Pastel" get started. I've yet to see a Pastel that looked anything like a Jungle. When I hear the name Jungle Pastel I always expect to see a very very yellow ball with a classic Jungle pattern and eyes but I never do.
So can someone shed some light on this for me?

Pastels and Pastel Jungles are the same thing. Read the Pastel Jungle story on Mark Mandiac's site. It states that Kevin of NERD named them Pastel Jungles. I think people just call them Pastels for short.

Absolutely not. The Patels generally are of Indian origin, while the Pastels are of west African origin. :joker:

LOL! I was thinking the same thing, I had a friend with the last name of Patel and she was definately from India. :D
