the title mentions 2000 pets but the story talks about hundreds. found that confusing.

It is terribly sad that the store burnt and all those animals died.

So, so very sad. He really seemed to love animals and taking care of them in his store. I hope he's able to recover and begin anew. Best of luck to him.

thats horrible, poor animals bruning to death in there cages there ought to be more laws and safety standereds to protect animals from such fates. At least the man seemes to care about his pets hopefully he'll get new ones and some sort of fire pervention device

awww that is so sad. The poor man loosing everything. I feel so bad for all the poor animals that died in the fire. What a horrible way to die :(
