Help with mites?

I just want to prepare myself, just incase any of my herps get them.

I was wondering what everybody's solutions are to get rid of mites....

I'm worried most about my skinks (Monkey-tails, and blue tongues) as there scales look as if it would be very difficult to rid of mites.

nyx, works great.
dilute it in water, and use it like soap on the skinks, let it sit for about 10 minutes and rinse it off. repeat in 3 days and when nessecary. usually works in one treatment (from my expierience)

I've never used it for prehensiles, but I had to use it on our BTS about a year ago. It seems I brought home some snake mites from a pet store and they're very fond of blue tongues.

I followed the treatment outlined by Nathan Curtis on the TARAS website, and the problem disappeared with no recurrances.
