View Full Version : gd start or not worth my time trying?

i was thinking of geting a hognose and treating like a hot (evin tho it is mildly) useing grab sticks tubes and hooks, i know it isnt as good at training with a hot keep (sumthing i plan on doing) but at the moment i cant seem to find anny near me (that i know of) so ime just asking you guys and girls if its a good plase to semi-start?

I would suggest a black racer or coach whip.

Joining the SHHS would probably be a good start to find a trainer.

might be able to get my hands on a black racer dont know about the coachwhip, whats the SHHS???? o and i whanted to know about (when ime trained) where in hell could i get some hot's in the uk???? dont realy know anny where that might evin have a bear idea where i might go........ i wonder... hmmm u think i could ask one of the pepol who deal with animals and heathrow airport lol??? might have a cobra spair (joke about the cobra might ask them tho)

Contact Chris Newman with the Reptilian Magazine. If it's still published? Haven't talked to him in a while. Or...David Wood, Coventry Reptiles,Enfield Reptile, London Herpetological Society Etc. You can contact local zoos or you might try to contact wildlife officials at Heathrow airport. Keep in mind that they are covered by the Dangerous Wild Animals Act in the U.K. Hope that helps.

Despite the name, the SHHS has members in MANY countries and several hundred members across the world. It is a great way to network with other hot keepers.
