New/First GTP

Hi! This past weekend my boyfriend bought us a terribly cute Green Tree Python. He was blue when we got him so I have been patiently waiting to snap a quick picture. Last night he had a perfect shed so today I got a shot. Excuse the poor lighting. Not the best shot, and the background is a couple towels I put over its cage to give it privacy during the shed and first week here. :)

I think he is around 10 months old or so, and larger than he looks in this photo. He has been really active at night so far! They are such amazing snakes!

Thanks for all the nice words guys. We are REALLY happy with this little GTP.

Last night he took a FT mouse with no hesistation at all, and today he is sitting in his coil under the hot spot :D Sooooo relieved he has both shed and eaten with no problems.

More pics in the future of course! :D

daver676 - Changing his water and cleaning his cage has been fine, but if we were to get to close to him, he strikes. LOL So average GTP I guess. :)

Sine that photo he now has four green scales coming in! Hooray!
