I had a beardie named spike and the symptoms you described(blowing up deflating) happened to him altho he died 20 minutes on the way to the vet.
I believe it is an abyss.If you have seen your beardie rub against the floor at any time its most likely.
When they inflate the abyss bursts poisoning the bloodstream.Nothing you could have done if this is true sorry...
