Both answers are the same: It varies.

Some females will be big enough by age two, others by age three and even still some at age four. They should be roughly over 36 inches with really good girth.

Bigger females usually lay more eggs. But I have heard from 6-30+ and everything in between.

On average it takes 2-3 years for a corn snake to grow and become adults for breeding. SOme takes longer and some takes less. I have a 2 year old amel bloodred corn snake that eats properly every time but just wouldn't grow. Right now he's about a foot long....while I have a few yearlings (born in Aug 2003) that are already reaching adult size....hahaha so it's hard to tell when they become breeding size. Breeding size is reached when the corn gets up to AT LEAST 3 feet (36 inches) long and FAT before you even start in thinking of breeding the snakes.

Corns uaually lay quite a lot of eggs a time. I would say on average of 15 eggs per female. But again I have seen some lay as small as 4 eggs to as large as 28 eggs in a single clutch (this is only based on my expereince, I am sure that some people have seen smaller clutches or larger ones)

Hope this helped~
