Here's my current source or joy and stress. She's a Kalimantan Wagler's Temple Pitviper and she has provided quite the learning experience. I bought her as a cb, but am pretty sure she is an unestabished wild caught. Oh well, were getting there and can't wait to get more of these little gems from different locals. Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Sorry to tell ya but you were misled. Although it was in your favor. Sumatran waglers are predominatly black speckled. Yours looks to be either a light Malaysian, or a typical Kalimantan. Sumatrans are much more common in the hobby and more commonly imported. Borneo and Kalimantan are usually more sought after.

Here's a good website for ya on Waglers and color phases.

They are actually the mellowest snakes I have ever encountered. No *****. They stay still for so long I often give them a gentle poke with my hook just to make sure she's still alive. As was pointed out she is a Kalimantan phase from Borneo, not Sumatra. That was what I had initially thought, but I had a bunch of people, including my supplier in Malaysia tell my she was Sumatran. Live and learn, that's what these forums are for. Thanks for the compliments on here all. I am quite proud of her. Easily my favourite next to my burms.:D
