I'm scared my crested may have an insect/fruit imbalance. (s)he hardly eats the fruit off the dish but will snack down the crix/mealies. temps are around 70 (would be 75+ but its winter and my room is badly insulated) and i mist like 4x a day.

yesterday (i hadnt handled her in a few weeks) i took her out and her legs and toes and a tiny vein on her head twitched and when i put one of my leos heat lamps near her it got worse so i dont think she was cold. her walk was weird. the tail would go from one side to the other and her hind legs would rotate up then step. and her grip was horrible on my arm (she fell off at the slightest angle). I dont really know what a crested in shed looks like cause they change colors neway and i'm pretty new at percieving what colors mean what.

could the fruit thing be connected? any obvious health problems that can be pointed out without a vet?

Dont woory about the insect/fruit imbalance. It is normal for baby cresties to prefer crix over fruit. It sounds like she is in shed, give it a couple of days. If she cant grip anything, she may have retained shed skin on her toes. Keep us updated.
Is the vein thing a bump on her head, sort like a line running parrallel across her eyes? If so this is normal.

Hey man... I can't really help you but I hope everything works out for you. I know you love that crested a lot.

thanks everyone makes me feel a lot better. the vein thing is like a line kinda behind her right eye i didnt realy get a good look at it.. i just know it was moving.

ok well i just took her out.. shes on my hand right now and she looks a little longer so she probably shed. she's not shaking a lot and i dont see annt left over skin on her leg but... i took out her plant and theres this HUGE fecal there w/ no urate probably bigger than her head.... after closer examination looks like a bunch of mealie shells. and she definately just peed on me.. i put her in a critter keeper and saw her underside for the first time. has a lot of tiny black dots scattered didnt really see loose skin even though she's still having trouble climbing.
