Hey Simon, she is absolutely amazing :)
To think, I was scared of her, and ALMOST did not get her.

She is a sweetie. I had her out twice today, and she never struck, tried to, etc.

She is getting some strength to her as well, she hung around as my new fashion

for a while. She makes an amazing bracelet.

Nippiness is pretty much gone I think. She is great. Thank you soooooo much. I still want that friendly one LOL ;)

This lil lady is definately my pride and joy, no nipping, nada. She is beautiful in both appearance and attitude. The orange moons are becoming quite nicely coloured.

I've updated her growth records :)

They start eating adult mice around their 6 or 7th feeding, which happens at about 1.5-3 months of age. They GROW fast.

At 6 months, they can be eating small rats, without problems.

not sure how long she was when I first got her.....she was very nippy so I didn't even try for a measurement.

But yah, they definately grow fast that's for sure. As well as they tend to lose their nippiness around 5-6mos old.

Jeff's definately a resident expert on brb's :) My lil lady is one of his :D

did she become not nippy because you handled her a lot? or it was just like a phase that she went through, and now shes fine?

At around 6-9 months of age, they just do a complete 180 in temperment. About 90% of the snakes I've kept back past that age do anyways, and most of the people I've sold the snakes to have noticed it as well. Boas are not really like pythons. They are slower moving, and less quick to strike out. Rainbows after a certain age are no exception. The bigger they get, the less enemies they have, and instinctually, they are hard-wired to not be spastic after reaching a certain size/age or both.
