OK, my brothers bp just got bapped by our kitten, and broke the skin. Its not bleeding, but the scales are messed up, and you can see the skin/muscle underneath!
I applied Bactroban to the area, nosmaler than two pinheads, and told my bro to just let him be, and dont disturb him for a while.
my question for you is, is this good enough, i know its not a vet matter, its just like and abrasion or cut. thanx you guys are awesome

Well make it's tank into a "hospital tank". Put down white paper towel (so you can see if it's bleeding or oozing nasty stuff)
Take out everything like fake plants, climbing branchs etc...etc...
so it's basicly 2 hides and a water bowel.
I don't know what bactroban is, but for all my animals and herps if one gets a cut I use neosporin (even used it in a pet bunny's infected eye, she's fine now, took just 3 days to clear up.), NON- medicated. Works like a charm.
And ya, just leave her alone, Might even want to wait till she sheds or it's completely healed to feed her so it don't make it reopen as the meal goes down.
If you feed large enough to leave a lump that is, if you still want to feed her maybe wait a week to let her calm down from "attack of the killer kitty" (not meant meanly, I have a cat that would love nothing more than to get ahold of ALL my caged animals)
then feed her something that will not leave a lump, so she is atleast eating something, but it's not big enough to stretch her out and make the wound reopen......
I hope that helped. Let us know how she is doing....

Sounds good enough...Just apply some antibiotic ointment and leave him alone.
