Guitar Practice?

Hey everyone, i got a electric/acoustic guitar for my bday/christmas gift. I played a bit of guitar back in highschool but I lost most of what i have learned. My questions are does anyone know any good practice drills that can improve accurancy and speed and also any good exercises for transitions to bar chords?

Just wanted to say congrats...I got 2 guitars that i started to learn a year ago, then i got lazy. Even though i always wanted to learn, i stopped, why?? Keep at it and make me jeolous... I'm the same as you, i was just startin to really get the basic cords......good luck
