Hi all.

As i live en Europe. I would like to know if flex watt can be put to 220 volt as it i what we use in Europe.

I would assume so, as long as the extension cord that you hook it up to is a European outlet, as opposed to a North American one, and definitely use a rheostat or a proportional thermostat with it.

It will draw twice as much current and get twice as hot on 240.
You should call the manufacturer "Calorique" in MA and see if they will ship you some 240v rated product rather than trying to use the 120volt stuff.

I wouldnt try it sounds like a very good way to start a fire. I'ld recomend using a step down transformer. Make sure you get one suitably rated for the amount of heat tape you are going to use.
(Lenght of heat tape in feet)x(Watts per foot)=(watt rating of the step down transformer)
