Boidkeeper - Thanks for posting this. I had considered doing it last night, but hoped someone would make the suggestion.

Donating money to a worthwile cause is a great thing to do, but it feels so good to do so at Christmas.

Donations don't need to be huge, and with paypal it is so very easy. Without paypal, it is easy as well - let's give ssnakess.com a Christmas present.

Or, if you are reading this after Christmas - a New Years bonus would be great too.

People, other than children make their own beds. Most animals that need our help need it because of circumstances beyond their control that people have put them in. Based on that reasoning most of the money I donate (not all I do donate to the local food bank almost every time I do groceries) goes to animals.

Trevor, as 'against the grain' as your reasoning is, I'm going to agree with you 100% that first and foremost, are children and animals. BOTH domestic.

Thanks Mike. Children are in our care and often have no control over their lives. Therefore yes they always come first. Adults can take care of themselves, or are suposed to be able to anyway. Like I said I do give to the food bank while shopping for food but other than that I try to take care of the animals that humans have placed in bad situations.
