red eye tree frogs

my bf is looking to get a red eye tree frog and i was wondering if anyone could help us out on the stuff we dont know.

- what size tank/aquarium is needed
- how long do they live
- is $30 too much for one

I quickly checked google for you and found that they can be housed in a 10 gal tank but i would suggest larger. Since they are tree frogs I would suggest a tall aquirum apposed to a long one since they are aboral heres a site i found with some info but i would deffently recomend buying a book because you never know bout caresheets on the internet. try google and search for red eyed tree frog care or something good luck and merry christmas

they need larger tanks when adult, very active at night. $30 is a good price, in canada at least.
