Try www.bobclark.com
www.newenglandreptile.com

There are lots of breeders out there man you just have to do a search on google.

Good luck.

What is the significance of a 4th generation recessive gene? Either the gene is there or it isn't. I don't get it.

i think it is like inbred 4 times through the original gene

Albino burms have been around for a long time, odds are that if you pick up an albino burm it's probably going to be multiple generations, possibly even more then 4.

Fourth generation simply means that it would be the offspring of the offspring of the offspring of the originally produced albinos. Just like you, your dad, your grandfather, and your great grandfather represent four generations.

The significance? None that I know of...

I think you would have to talk to Bob Clark or someone who was selling the first albino burms, and see if he knows anyone that has a 4th generation burm..so that you could make an offer to buy it. However, I don't think they keep stats on who buys what when, and even if they did, I doubt they would give out that info to the public. So, your chances seem quite slim.

Why does your friend want specifically 4th generation? IMHO there isn't any significance to it.

He said that he wants it for breeding cuz he thinks if he breeds it whith his other one then all the hatchlings will be albino but i dont think that is true so i really dont no i am just trying to help him find it cuz it is an easy 100 for me and mabey a new baby burm. thx

If he breeds 2 albinos, he'll get albino babies regardless of the generation. If he breeds an albino with a normal, it will depend on wether the normal carries the recessive albinism gene. The generation of the true albino wont matter in either case.
