Need painting advice/theme advice

I have a spare bedroom that I'm converting into a reptile room. I was going to do a jungle theme throughout the room but my upstairs bathroom already has a tropical fish theme. The two together would be corny so I ditched the jungle theme.

Does anyone have suggestions as to what I could do? I'm thinking about a deep red with some orange in it, like a blood orange. It's a rental house so I don't want to sink too much time and money into it, which means no murals!

I would just paint it green and add lots of plants (home depot usually have large cheap plants) to take up any available space around your enclosures.:)

I love red paint. I would love to paint my living room in a red/rust colour but, my husband is against it.

My downstairs living room is already green so that's another reason why I'm shying away from the jungle theme. I don't want redundant colors! I will get some plants though.

Have you ever been to the rainforest cafe? I would do it up like that. Plus all the decorations would only be temporary, you could bring them when you move. Only thing is you had better hope nothing ever got out, if something did, good luck finding it!
