WABBITS
A precious little girl walks into a pet shop and asks in the sweetest little lisp, "Excuthe me, mithter, do you keep widdle wabbits?"
As the shopkeeper's heart melts, he gets down on his knees, so that he's on her level, and asks, "Do you want a widdle white wabbit or a thoft and fuwwy bwack wabbit or maybe one like that cute widdle bwown wabbit over there?"
She blushes, puts her hands on her knees, leans forward and says in a quiet voice, "I don't think my pet python weally givth a thit."

lol, that's as funny as a guy in a pet store where I used to buy crickets was. He would ask if I wanted ketchup or vinegar and I'd play along and say no, I have all that at home in front of the other customers. Used to get some horrified looks from them.

ha, i'v never heard that before, thats great, my aunt one time at a pet store, saw a guy carrying a rabbit into the herp room and then she heard it scream and she asked him what he did to it, he said he fed it to a snake and she tried to report the pet store for animal abuse for the rabbit, i would reported them for giving live rabbits to a snake.

one time i walked into the petstore to buy feeders, but they were out, and after she said that i turned and looked at the 1.79 fancy mice, and she said "NO, YOU CANT HAVE MY FANCIES"

I buy "feeder pigs" - 30 to 50 # - at local livestock auctions. No, I don't tell anyone in the gallery that my definition is a bit different from theirs.

Hmm...so just because you have heard this 5 times that means EVERYONE else has? Im pretty sure this site doesn't revolve around you so just keep those opinions to yourself.

That was a great joke
My best feeder experience was buying pinkies with dad and a woman was like, "EW! What are THOSE for?" and my dad replied, "Well they're great fried up with some garlic butter" and we walked out.

lol, that is funny......I went to one store, they questioned every small pet I looked at (it was a major chain PET storeco)
I went to another one.
And they took me back to their breeder room, let me look in with their own peronal feeders/breeder bins to see the groups, and let me pick out my own rats (To start my own breeding) and even told me a few ways to humanely kill them. As this shop doesn't sell rats as pets. These rats I picked out where in the vision holding bins (the huge ones) it was a whole new all from vision set up back there. So awesome! lol
so of course the rats were in a mixed bin, so I can tell atleast one female is already pregnant, she is showing belly.
They were selling the old bins, with the wire on top going into a dip, put the food in the dip....for like 7.00$...like from big apple herps. got one of those and got 1.2 breeding group.
plan on going back this week and picking up a couple more bins to seperate males from females so I can let a few get bigger..........
oh my! I've rambled, I'm sorry.
