wow glad you don't care i belive you don't even own one so for us that are going to be producing albino boas means slash the market by 600.00 come on no need for that it's like me buying a woma python for 1000.00 producing out of it and selling the offspring for 1000.00 each when some people pay 4000.00 a pair how would that make them feel when they can't sell theres for the price they should be but again this is canada some of you people don't care if the market goes down huge ha if we do that most of us breeders will go broke makes sence to me.

I could have bought one this past summer for 1300, but never did.

I wouldnt lose any sleep over it man its not that big of deal.

like i said its not that big of deal with 3 snakes, but if he were to do it all the time every year selling 20-30 albino or whatever for that low below market than YES it would be a big deal. But im sure that isnt going to happen, because im sure he doesnt want to take that much of a loss, i know i wouldnt.

Also, I think it should be pointed out that KaHane is selling ONE boa for 900$... the rest are over 1000$. I'm not taking sides either, but it's not as though he's selling 30 babies for 900$ apeice, he's selling a relatively dull looking albino for a good price.

I agree with Het For Human & Zoe, one person selling a few albinos at a lower price will not lower the market price. I have been to several shows this years and saw people selling them for $800 American at one table and $1200 American at the very next table. The difference is ussually in the quality of the animal and like KaHane said pics of the litter go first and are priced higer. It seems like it goes in a cycle. First the prices are high after they are first born then a few months later when everyone has them available prices go down due to competition. Then this time of year when most are sold and they are harder to find prices go back up. I have had several breeders give me one price over the phone but then I go to a show and see there price is much higher because they are matching everyone elses price.

I know you are in Canada, my point is that one breeder selling animals for less will not kill the market price. I didn't know we were discussing sub adults? You are right that sub adults sell for more. I was was just implying that the price fluctuates based on supply. When everyone has albinos for sale the price will go down and as they sell and not many are left they get bigger and sell for more. But some breeders get tired of holding animals and sell them for less to move them.

Hey all and all it is HIS right to sell for what ever he wants he bred them there HIS animals LOL now we can tell breeders what to sell for? It was a CHRISTMAS SALE get over it have you seen all the christmas sales out there right now???? most everything is 1/2 price why should reptiles be any different? I have had nothing but good dealings with KaHane.

I too will 2nd Red D's comment about spending more time worrying about your personal reputation than anything. If I had even a fraction as much "dirty laundry" as you Boa I would be doing my best to change & I definitely would not be bringing it up on an open forum. No I do not know you personally, but I do know many others personally that I trust that know you & for your sake I won't bring up anything I've heard about you & yes even though I'm on the other end of the country I have heard LOTS on multiple occasssions from multiple people. Yes , it is KaHanes right to sell for what he wants but i agree with Boa in the fact that that is a drastic price drop and "IF" it were to happen again the YES, KaHane would be stepping on peoples toes(not mine personaly) , so to speak.

What's this foolishness about ruining the market? It's called competition. Besides, any business in the world will purge old stock even if it means doing it at a loss. They have to do this because keeping old stock costs money to handle and store and in the case of livestock, to feed. So even if someone gets the same price six months into the season as they would have at the start it's still a loss because they've had to pay to maintain that animal that whole time. Sometimes it's better to sell sooner for less than later for more. Only the guy selling can decide how much and how soon his price will drop and this will be based on how much it is costing him to sit on the stock.

Why the heck did you take them? We met up and you personally inspected them, and you know as well I do. The truth is that they were fine and healthy!!! So enough of your lies, they are catching up with you. Like I said, it's time to grow up and be a man and stand up for your mistakes. And Screaming misfit Jay, stay out of this bro, I don't make threats. I was just warning Shawn, that he shouldn't write fake cheques and he should resolve all his problems. I hope this situation is past us all now and we can move on. I don't care about the $$, it's a waste of my time. I just hope Shawn knows what's right and what's wrong from now on.

A couple of interesting tidbits for you folks.
First off writing fake chq's on purpose is called Fraud & is an offence under the criminal code of Canada. If someone wanted to they could press charges & succeed with the evidence presented here.
2ndly I just collected on 2 "bounced" chqs recently. I had the bank put Liens on buddys account & when the cash showed up, instant deposit to my account. The bank doesn't mind doing it because they collect $30 per chq too boot (they take it out of the chq & you recv. the balance). You can do this for upto 6 months from when the chq is written. They have to be resubmitted every couple of weeks, but the bank just monitors the account for funds & once they appear they take them.
3rdly there is smalll claims court, but it is hardly worth the hassle, but is always an option.
Lastly if you have a deal, its a deal, keep up your end of it. Mark

Come on kahane both of those snakes you said are ltc feeding on f/t feeding's while the guyana never ate for me for the 3 months i had him he never ate at all my other boa's eat every week not that one as for the emmy you got that back so no big deal there.

Kahane when i seen you in front of grants store the day before the show i explaned the guyana to you and i wanted to return him i had him right there in my car in front of yours and you would not accept him back so that says alot right there you know alot more about that snake and turned it down explane please?

You know you got the better deal out of me 400.00 for the emmy 350 for the guyana and suposed 1650.00 for the albino when you got 1545.00 out of her after the emmy 1145.00 cash whats the problem here kahane.
