My Redfoot is gone. We took him in 8 months ago. I was looking to buy one when we found a rescue. He was a friend of a friend of a friends. You know how it works. When I talked to him he said he bought it from PCPC. He however kept it in a 33 gallon tank for the year he had it. So I offered him 50 bucks and he said $300 and I said $50 and he said $200 and eventually I got him for $100. He had no UVB or nothing. Romaine was his only offerings and no vits. We gave him everything. Happy little critter now. However his 4X2 foot temperary enclosure isn't big enough for my liking and he grows like a weed. Since we have no room for bigger I found him a home with little bro. He lives at home still and loves herps. I built a 8X4 tort table in the basement and set it up for him. This way I can check on him and if he moves out in a couple years, I can take him back. Sad but good, you know how it is. If you love something you have to set it free. If it.... blah blah blah ya it still sucks though. I miss him already.

'me smiles and remembers when he'd chase the dot from my laser pointer like a cat. A very slow cat '

Well, you can visit the little monster any time right? Torts do need some room to wander and as well boxies. I have my two little guys in a 50 gallon rubbermaid right now. I too want something bigger. I know the feeling.

Cheers,
JJ;)

Sorry you have to give him away. That sucks. Once I adopted a bearded dragon. I was willing and able to care for him 100% properly, but I had a friend come over and the guy and the dragon just bonded some how. It sounds weird but they just loved each other.

Within 6 months I had decided I would let the dragon move to my friends house. I LOVED him and having him but my friend just has something for this particular dragon. I was sad, still am, but we visit and both dragon and friend are happier now :D
