don't know how many of you are true LOTR movie buffs as I am, but I just found the official site, and I must say its worth taking the time to visit it.
Enjoy

thanks for sharing that!
Are they showing the 11.5 hour trilogy everywhere today? If I didn't have to work I'd be there.

I think there is a distinct possibility that I will be at the midnight screening, and still into work bright and early the next day. :D

I don't know, Sunrunner....I could make an argument for the #1 fan ;) I have read the books too many times to remember and stuff like The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales and some of the H.O.M.E serries quite a few times as well.
Thanks Beth....I have checked that page every day for the last two years...it's pretty cool. A really good fan site is www.theonering.net I've been checking that one for more than three years.
The movie does open tomorrow but they are showing "Trillogy Tuesday" today. They will show the Extended Editions of both FOTR & TT...followed by Return of the King...at about midnight.
I tried to get tickets to just the midnight showing (I have seen those EE countless times) but Aliance Atlantis told me that they are not showing ROTK in a midnight showing by itself. Although I'm sure that it is happening somewhere.
So I will have to wait until tomorrow at 8:00...I've had my tickets for weeks now...
probably wait til next week to see when the crowds have died down a bit.

Yup. And if anyone ruins the ending for me, I will kick your ***!
The answer is a midday viewing at a small theatre. For me, it's Fairview Mall at the the Rainbow Cinemas. Cheap, and more importantly, EMPTY.

This movie is going to rock! I am so excited. Unfortunately I cant see it until Friday and the anticipation is killing me!
Rottentomatoes.com gives it a 100% fresh rating with 44 reviews! Hopefully it will stay that way.
If some idiotic movie takes the Oscars from RoTK this year, (anyone remember Chicago last year??) I am going to go over there and rip the academy's heads off.
Actually, I'll probably just ignore it because they are a bunch of morons anyways.

I just saw it yesterday, got home at 4 o clock in the morning, woke up at 8, now i'm at work.
I am 50% disappointed and 50% satisfied with this movie. I won't ruin it for anyone tho so if anyone else here has seen it and wants to talk about it PM me, i wouldn't mind hearing other people's opinions on this...
*cheers*
