I am temporarily moving my yearling corn from a 40 gallon gladd aquarium to an 11 gallon rubbermaid. I'm wondering how much I need to perforate the container, and if there is any consensus on where the holes should be.

My father-in-law is phobic, and he's coming to stay a week. My friend is fostering her, but I just dont want to haul the tank over there. Besides...when she moves back home, I'll have an empty rubbermaid to deal with. ;)

Well when I did my ball pythons rubbermaids I just went kinda like *.*.*.*.*.* about 2 inches apart on the * . * . * . * .
I put the line in the very middle of the rubber maid on the side. Others may

I did mine like every 2 cm apart along the sides up top. helps hold in warmth and humidity that IMO. If it's temporary then it's not that big a deal. they need plenty of fresh air and for a snake that's not that much. don't want there to be too much or they might catch a draft and so on and so forth. :)

Alright. I did a row of 3/16 " holes about 1.5" apart around all 4 sides. I also did holes through bin and lid for S-hooks to secure the lid as I've seen in pictures here before. I think bungees would be easier to open and close, but it's temporary.

Going to miss her over the holidays. :)

I've got my sterilite lids anchored with bungees. I know you're going to miss her. I hate it when I have to leave my babies. :)
