Question on silkies

So as most of you know i am basically DONE with pet stores all together (besides a monthly trip for mini crix), so i am going to start ordering silks for max.

right now he is about 8 months old and is approx 10 inches in total length. What size silkie and how many should he be eating at this time?

id say 1 1/2 inch or medium silks. if you order eggs be prepared for the time it takes to grow them too feeding size about one month after hatching (takes 1 to 2 weeks for them to hatch when they arrive). it is good to get a size too small and they will grow with the food. or a combo so you can feed and raise some for when they are done. Im not sure how big he is now (pic's:) ;) ;))
at a year they should be able to take large silkies no problem. and if they have never had them b4 they will probably spit them out on the first go they are alot jucier then crix ;), but dont worry they will like them. you can order crix online too and mealies from the some provider u choose most of the time.

for the males i let them eat what they want some eat 2 some eat 5 somedays they will eat one depends, Id restrict the females mine tend to get too fat if im not careful. your ganna have to test it out id say though one sillk = 8-12 crix i think soo ...
