Anyone have a theory as to why that stuff is soooo damn addictive.:D It really is outta control, there could be a coffee shop on each corner and all be just as busy. Average drive through line has between 10-15 cars in it at any given time. :D Just wondering if/when they will start popping up in the States too???LOL Anyways, I love the coffee!!!!!:grab:

Don't remind me... since moving away from Tim Hortons to Texas I have yet to find a good cup that I didn't make myself. :)

HAHAHA My house is ADDICTED.

We live with roomates, and between the two couples the house sees anywhere from 8-12 coffees per day from Timmys!! Not to mention Everything bagels with cream cheese.

There are a few in Upper New York State, that I know of. My uncle lives in Rome NY and there is one there.

It's because they've infused it with delicious opium. Mmmmm narcolicious ahhhhhh! Yes I'll have an extra large with 2 cream, 3 sugar and 2 percocets... oh and give one of those double chocolate doughnuts...

actually, I have heard that Tims adds salt to their grinds, which then helps speed up the heart rate and therefore accelerate the effect of the caffeen!

Again I only heard this

They would have to add alot of salt to increase the heart rate, for that effect.

My parents add a little salt to there grinds to remove the bitter taste.

There's 2 or 3 in Buffalo and it's really expensive! A large is over $1.50 US if I remember correctly.

Me too.

salt doesn't speed up the heart reat. It can raise the blood pressure but only if you already have blood pressure problems. for example katey has blood pressure issues, salt affects her. I don't have any blood pressure issues and i can have 10 times as much salt as her with no effects on my BP.

as for adding salt to coffee, we used to do that @ one place i worked because it took the bitterness away from the coffee. just a dash will do.

You can order Tim hortons offline, there is a website! I've yet to try it. But my partner has.....can't wait, I don't care how much I have to pay for a cup of good coffee.

Yup the secret addictive agent is nicotine. They had an article about the addictiveness of the stuff in McClean's I believe. Apparently companies that manufacture food can add limited amounts of addictive drugs like nicotine to thier food. Now I know why I was still satisfied with a coffee and no smokes when I first quit smoking. Gimme an extra large 4 and 4 and I'm one happy camper!:D

Nicotine is far more addictive then opium or heroin. Legal too

Far less enjoyable though. I add codeine cough syrop to round out the buzz! LOL!
