Blue Tongued Skink shedding

I have a blue tongued skink with retained shed on his toes. I was wondering if anyone has found any easy ways to remove it? Should I soak him and try to get it off with tweezers, or do you have any other ideas? Thanks a lot!

That's exactly what we usually do when our BTS has trouble shedding. A little soak and some forceps does the trick.
