Nice coloration there. As common as they are here in AZ, they still are a blast to see. I even adopted one after I told myself not to..heh. My lil' guy is just hell on tails. One pissy crote. Even rattles at his food while he sizes them up, and even while he is swallowing them. I guess he likes the sound of his rattle....to say the least.

I almost drove right over a good 5'+ specimen this summer that was laid across the lane I was drivin in. I went out to pull him off the road and I did not get as much as one rattle from it, and yet another about 3' before that one, same situation. Both seemed to be to interested in hunting and not realizing I was even there to help them out. Good thing because both would have been DOR as vehicles were pretty active that night.
