Cage size for rough scaled sand boa

What size cage would I need for a female rough scaled sand boa? Is a 36lx24wx11.5h too big?

Yeah, that is huge.. I've bred them in rubbermaids the size of 10 gallon tanks.

Ugh. I'm interested in a burrowing species that I could put in a cage this big. Any ideas?
