Hi! Me again!
Well, Chevy is still eating ok.. although not as much as the 6 he ate for me the first time.. the following day was 3 and a mealie and last night was 2 and a mealie... hopefully now that we have a UTH and not just a lamp, he will digest faster and eat some more...

Anywho, what I ewant to know is this: If I buy a female, (or two) that are the same age as Chevy, (approx 2 months) they won't start trying to breed will they? I mean because they can't possibly be sexually mature, they shouldn't right? I just don't want to get a female (or two) and end up haveing one get preggers when she is too young... how should this be brought about? When do they meet sexual maturity, and how can you know if a female is ready to reproduce? I personally am not looking to reproduce them any time soon, their age not withstanding, but I do want more than one, and Chevy just seems lonely...

Anyway, any help you can give wouldbe really appreciated...

you should keep all leos seperate until they are full grown... otherwise one will be slightly bigger or slightly more aggressive and end up making the others submissive, eating all the food, getting bigger, adn stressing out the others! Best bet is to set-up a baby rack with the sterylite sho box enclosures and waiting till they are all adults... then you can set-up a nice lil tank for them! Its easier also for you to keep an eye on their health, when they eat, poop, shed, etc.

Good luck!!

well I only want 1 or 2 females. and I would rather have them together as babies then wait for them to be adults. Birch what do you think? and I am not getting them to breed.. just as a friend, and I know some people keep them together as babies. Also I would feed them seperately... and seperate if I saw dominance..
