lol, they are called cave spiders cause they are sort of a spider, and they live in darker areas(at least i think thats why they get their name).

Common names for most things stem from ignorance or jumping to conclusions rather than any real fact. Tailless whip scorpions, or more appropriately, amblypigids are found in many differing habitats. They are in their own order within Arachnidae, they are not spiders or scorpions. They are non-venomous, incredibly fast, and very cool pets. :)

It took me a second to place that -- The Schultzs' TKG. Actually refering to a vinagroon, if I remember correctly.

Yep, the Tarantula Keeper's Guide.
Its an entertaining read as well as informative.
I especially like the line where he says 'there are now 9 people out in (I forget) that are absolutely convinced that that is NOT the way to pick up a tarantula'.
