Thats a hard question, there so much to remember. I would have to say the different people who breed herps, if you want a certain snake for instance you go to this person or that person.
Another think that sticks in my mind is how to sanatize outdoor sticks so that they are safe for herps, different recipes for crix/how to breed crix. The list goes on and on....
Oh yea I agree ssnakess is AWESOME!!! :)

I really enjoy the site thus far as a newer member myself. It also has taught me to respect folks from the great white north a bit more....:D...Strange Brew, great flick lol

Anyhow, I like the site. I have noticed a good amount of folks here that do know what they have to say. A lot of good help and not to much flaming when it comes to the routine questions and concerns of newer herpers. I also like seeing the wide variety of folks here that help make the site what it is. I like reading some of the other herpeteculture inquiries and husbandry discussions pertaing to various herpsas well. Over all, I give it 2 thumbs up.

The best things I ever learned was when I first got here. It wasn't necessarily reptile knowledge. Other 1st-timers might remember a guy named Quervo (from mainland BC??). He was the GURU of paints, off-gassing, wood-types, etc etc. That guy knew so much about that stuff, I ALWAYS checked his posts out first.

I wish he never left. Heck of a guy.

I just learned about "star gazing" yesterday and i was just floored, i would have never thought that something as simple as your snake looking up for too long could mean something so serious, but now i know better and if it ever happens to any of my snakes, they'll be in good hands.

And like yesterday and the days before that, i always learn something new in here...this site rocks! Period.

Well the FIRST thing I learned on here was information on IBD, from there, whenever any questions popped into my head, no matter how basic or how advanced, someone has always been able to answer me :)

So much from every different person. And not always about herps either. Every person has something different to teach you, you just have to find out what it is. Even if you and that person don't always agree on things.
