Milksnakes are like kingsnakes so if you like kingsnakes then you will mostlikely like milksnakes. If not then i dunno

Our Mexican is a very gentle and beautiful snake, maybe a bit active and on the small side (2.5 feet) for a young child to keep well in hand, but never even threatens to bite. Corns or some of the larger kings and milks seem to be calmer and settle down more readily for handling. He is strongly nocternal, almost never out during daytime, whereas calkings and floridas as well as hondurans are often out basking or checking things out. Only problem is they seem more sensitive and easily frightened by activity and events than our other milksnakes. Ours was frightened once when I moved a dead mouse moved too quickly and he won't take anything bigger than a dead fuzzy now, even though he could handle larger. Good luck in your decision.
